Mark Strunin, Associate

Mark Strunin brings extensive experience in the design and implementation of individual, group and organizational change. He is a highly skilled facilitator, trainer and coach. In 2015, he capped off his career in Human Resources Development career after serving for seventeen years as Director of Training and Career Services at L.A. Care Health, the largest US publicly accountable health services plan. Recently, Mark has focused on strategic planning, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and performance management for non-profits, especially in the arts and social services.


Mark is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UCLA, earned an MA in Educational Psychology from California State University Northridge and a Certificate in Dialogue and Deliberation from the Fielding Institute, Sant Barbara. He volunteers through the Taproot Foundation and the Southern California Executive Service Corps.


He was a local, regional and national officer of the American Society for Training and Development ( ASTD now ATD) and served on non-profit boards for faith and community organizations including the Jewish Federation of the San Gabriel Valley, the Yerusha Foundation and a synagogue in Northeast Los Angeles.
