Lise is a group facilitator, trainer, presenter and coach, helping to build stronger working communities in businesses, non-profits and schools for more than 20 years.  Her work is built on a professional foundation of intercultural dialogue and human relations, and guided by the abiding belief that groups and organizations can be more effective and resilient when people are afforded the opportunity to deepen their connections to one another and to their working environment.  She brings considerable experience in process design and facilitation, team building, coaching, leadership development, strategic planning and conflict management. A certified council trainer, she works with K-12 students and teachers in the Los Angeles Unified School District, where council circles teach young people to listen to each other respectfully and without judgment, creating classroom communities that better support learning. Lise has been an invited conference presenter, exploring the complexities of race and culture in a changing world. She holds an M.A. in Intercultural Relations from Antioch University and the Intercultural Communication Institute.
