Prentice is the Owner of PPD Consulting, specializing in Project Management in construction, public administration consultant, public education consultant, Non-profit management, strategic planning, community outreach.  He is also the former CEO of the Center for Community and Family Services, where his responsibilities included managing 27 child development centers including Head Start and Early Head Start centers in Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank and Altadena. Managed 32 different federal, state and county grants with annual budget of 82 million. Responsible for overall direction and accomplishments of agency dealing with 10 thousand children in LA County and Housing in Pasadena and Central California.
